Maggi Clark led members and supporters of Rotherham Labour Party on a sponsored walk starting from Wortley Hall for Linda McAvan’s chosen charity for 2012, Practical Action’s Hitting Hunger Hard Campaign. The money will go towards establishing Women’s Cooperative Farms in Eastern Sudan. It is envisaged that when all the money is collected in they will have raised enough money for at least two farms.
